I'm thankful for a full social calendar while my husband is out of town.
Although I miss him, I'm thankful for the extra hours each day I have to write without any distraction whatsoever.
I'm thankful for a temp gig that will net me extra cash, even though it means getting up ridiculously early on a Saturday.
I'm thankful for realizing that the second noble truth (suffering is caused by attachment) is true. Not that I didn't, in a way, know it before. But now I know it on a much deeper level. One that's difficult to explain.
