Drew Myron is a writer and poet working for the greater good.

For more than 30 years, Drew Myron has worked at the intersection of writing and service — as a reporter and editor for community newspapers, a writer in corporate communications, and a storyteller for small business and nonprofit organizations.

Writing is both professional career and personal pursuit.

She’s the author of Thin Skin, a collection of poems and photographs, and her work appears in literary journals, anthologies, and cross-genre collaborations. She leads writing workshops in unusual places — from nursing homes to county fairs — and has taught at the Sitka Center for the Arts, Seashore Family Literacy, Denver County Fair, and more.

Drew shares field notes, essays, interviews and poems on a blog that’s been going for nearly two decades. Push Pull Carry is a place for readers, writers, makers who appreciate a soft piano, a quiet light, the weight of a word, the lift of a line.

Drew lives in Oregon, and can be reached at dcm@drewmyron.com
