Why Not You?

If a dream

is water, is wave

is love collecting

light

why not you

as moon guiding

our way to the edges

of understanding?

In a small boat

the horizon distant —

what if you are explorer

of current and swell,

or a hull holding knowledge,

a keel calm and steady?

a rising tide pushing us forward,
