Hello. It’s Thankful Thursday — again, already.
Please join me in a weekly pause to express appreciation for people, places, things and more. Big or small, pea-sized or profound, attention attracts gratitude, and gratitude expands joy, and my gratitude grows when shared with you.
Some days are more difficult than others, to find the good, to sort through the junk.
You know how this goes. It’s the tiny shifts that allow the noise of the world (and your head) to weigh less and the small stuff to mean more. This week gratitude arrived soft, quiet, small:
A walk in early morning.
Catching the eye of a friend in a shorthand of secrets.
A good, strong gin & tonic.
A rush of words without a filter.
An unexpected text from a faraway friend.
The wobble in the voice where trust begins.
His voice on the phone, light, happy.
Standing knee-deep in a cold river.
What are you thankful for today?
